Description
Itinerary Day 1 At the indicated time, we will pick you up at the Lima point of your choice and we will start our trip to the village of San Pedro de Casta. We will make a stop to stroll through its streets before having lunch and recharge our batteries. The menu includes a soup, a main course and a drink. After lunch, we will start a three-hour trekking route through the Marcahuasi plateau, which dominates the landscape from its 4000 meters of altitude. Keeping a good pace, we will reach the highest point at the ideal time to watch the sunset. The effort will have been worth it! After witnessing this spectacle of nature, we will sit around a campfire in the tented camp to rest and watch the starry sky. Day 2 We will wake up at dawn and breathe in the fresh mountain air before setting off. During this part of the trek, we will see the geological formations that dot the Marcahuasi plateau. We will see the sphinx, the extraterrestrial, the alchemist and many other enigmatic stones. We will pass by the Cachu Cachu and Huacracocha lagoons to enjoy their natural environment, and we will contemplate the Lion King rock and the Monument to Humanity, a curious figure in the shape of a human head. We will then return to San Pedro de Casta for lunch and start our return trip to Lima. Arrival at the departure point is scheduled at 7:00 pm. Lodging The tour includes one night of lodging in tents.
