Amazon Expedition Day 1: • Pick up from hotel or airport • Reception at the jetty. • Navigating the Amazon River • Guide information about the Amazon River and its history • Arrival at the Lodge. • Botanical walk (medicinal plants). • Lunch at the lodge. • Observation of gray and pink dolphins. • Piranha fishing. • Swim in the river. • Dinner at the lodge. • Night excursion. • Overnight at the Lodge. • Camping (additional activity). Day 2: • Sunrise watching and sighting of different species of birds. • Breakfast on board. • Observation of monkeys in their natural habitat. • Lunch at the lodge. • Observation of various insects of the Amazon and hanging from lianas. • Dinner at the lodge. • Night excursion in canoe to observe alligators in their natural habitat (varies according to the climatological factor). • Overnight at the lodge. • Camping (additional activity). Day 3: • Breakfast at the lodge. • Observation of sloths and squirrels in their habitat. • Visit to a riverside community and learn about their customs. • Lunch at the lodge • Return to the city of Iquitos.
