Description

This great experience begins with the pick up from your hotel between 3:40 to 4:00 hrs and then head south for an average of 3hrs to reach the district of Layo, observing typical high Andean landscapes. Arriving to the district of Layo we will have a delicious local breakfast. After breakfast we will continue our journey on an unpaved road until we reach the starting point of the hike. Arriving at the starting point we will receive all the instructions from our guide, it should be noted that the mountain Pallay Punchu being a new tourist route does not have good accessibility is why our guide will give the necessary instructions and the right way to get to the place well. The hike has an average of 2hrs ascent. When you arrive to the Pallay Punchu Mountain (4,791masl / 15,718ft.) our guide will give you an explanation about the orography and geography of the place, you will also have enough time to take pictures. After the visit, we will return by the same road downhill to our transportation, then we will go to the district of Layo where a delicious local lunch will be waiting for us. Finally we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at 18:30hrs approx.
