Description

Day 1: Tour Uros Taquile speedboat 1 Day Our departure begins at 7:30 a.m. from your hotel or from the bus station in Puno. To go in a private transport to the pier or main port. At 8:00 am, we start the departure towards the floating islands of the Uros, currently considered the National Reserve of Lake Titicaca. Also known as the highest navigable lake in the world. At present the people of the Uros still maintain their own culture and tradition, as well as artisanal fishing, especially (CARACHI) and silverside. There are 75 islands living at present, and each island is well organized, To get to our next visit, we will sail by boat for 2 hours and a half, to the natural island of Taquile, during the navigation you will be able to observe the chain of mountains (the royal range), not only that, the people of Taquile are very cooperative and well organized. It is the reason that the Taquileños have demonstrated their high degree of progress in Textiles, receiving their award from UNESCO. The visit will take an average of 2 hours, and 1 hour will have to taste a delicious typical lunch in front of the lake, Approximate arrival time 17:00 hours.
