Hotel Equo
Peru
Avis
Basic room with no ventilation and no natural light. Bathroom was pretty. Service at the front desk was excellent but they wanted to charge for everything and anything.
I had a very pleasant stay after switching hotels several times due to dissatisfaction. I stayed here for four weeks and can give the following feedback: * Nice, solid rooms * The location is excellent and central (5–7 minutes walking distance to the beach, the promenade, and Larcomar; Kennedy Park is also very close) * Ideal for a longer stay * The staff are very friendly and helpful * Great value for money in my opinion (there are very few, if any, hotels in this location and quality at this price) * Breakfast is decent * Of course, it can sometimes be noisy due to street traffic, honking cars, or construction work, but that’s standard in Lima * If I come back to Lima, I will definitely stay here again
The room is gorgeous, large bathrooms, all new and beautiful. The room is very spacious and furniture is beautiful. The location is great, close to the beach and several things to do. They brought me water when I ordered from the phone. I didn't like: Major: I like to sleep in tranquility but I felt like I was sleeping at the curb due to the noisy street the bedroom was sided to. Also, the blackouts don't make the room dark enough. We left to the airport without having our breakfast as 7:05 am it wasn't served yet. Standard is 7 am. The below will definitely refrain me from staying here again. As I am in boutique hotel, I expect to treated accordingly. During the check-in the attendant checked ostensibly each cash bill to verify whether they were authentic. They're right in verifying and I can also get offended by the way he did it. I stayed in other 4 hotels in Peru and this was the first time I felt like that. Again, during the check-out the attendant made me feel uncomfortable again when rather working in our checkout, he ran out from the desk to verify the bedroom.
