During my stay there is ongoing construction during the week. Room without tissues and bathroom have no towels hangers, Includes breakfast is average but overall it’s clean. But there is no hot water in the morning.
breakfast were good. Room was spacious and clean but they have a consistent problem with the keys not working. We were there four nights in two different rooms, plus our friends had 4 nights with 2 rooms, and between us made at least 15 trips back to the front desk because keys would deactivate. Other people had similar issues. They really need to fix this, as it's a known issue. Blue light on tv was so bright it made it hard for both us and our friends to go back to sleep in the middle of the night. Location is excellent.
5/5 – Excellent stay in the heart of Miraflores – Highly recommend! I just returned from a wonderful 4-night stay at Hotel Jose Antonio in Lima’s Miraflores district, and it exceeded every expectation for a 4-star hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming with fast check-in and a complimentary Pisco sour — a perfect taste of Peruvian hospitality. Every team member (reception, restaurant, and housekeeping) was genuinely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way, whether arranging early breakfast for a tour or offering great local recommendations. The location is ideal — just a 5-minute walk to the Pacific Ocean promenade, four blocks from Larcomar, and steps from Kennedy Park, cafés, shops, and public transport. It’s safe, vibrant, and perfectly situated for both tourists and business travelers. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with a great bed, modern bathroom, AC, minibar, safe, and strong Wi-Fi. The hotel felt quiet and well-maintained despite its lively surroundings. Breakfast is a highlight: a generous buffet with fresh juices, fruits, local specialties, eggs made to order, and plenty of delicious options. Overall, Hotel Jose Antonio delivers outstanding value — excellent service and amenities at a fair price. It feels more like a boutique hotel than a standard chain. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lima. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable!
The hotel is well situated near the Malecon elevated boardwalk which runs all the length of the suburbs of Miraflores and Barranco. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and modern. The only slight downside was road repairs taking place in front of the hotel which started in the morning, but this is obviously a temporary situation.
Great service from the staff, the Front Desk especially Mara & Cesar, bellman Ansalon, restaurant servers especially Eduardo, Room attendants especially Rosanna all of them were very kind, helpful and professional. Our 6F room was nice, clean, spacious but we can hear the street noise. Towels and bedding smell lovely. We prefer to have wash cloths and bath towels as the bath sheets are too heavy. Buffet breakfast was delicious and nice restaurant ambiance. Great hotel location. Highly recommended!
