Afterward, walk two blocks to board your open-top sightseeing bus. Begin your journey with a visit to the Sacsayhuamán National Archaeological Park. From the comfort of the bus, enjoy panoramic views of several important landmarks, including San Cristóbal Church, one of the first Catholic churches built in Cusco, and Qolqampata Palace, traditionally associated with the royal lineage (panaca) of Manco Cápac, the legendary founder of the Inca Empire.
Make a stop near the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuamán and Puka Pukara, where you will have time to get off the bus, take photos, and admire these remarkable places while your bilingual guide shares their history and cultural significance.
Next, an Andean priest will welcome you for a traditional Pachamama (Mother Earth) gratitude ceremony, a meaningful ritual of reciprocity that reflects the values of the Andean worldview.
Visit the hill where the Cristo Blanco (White Christ) statue stands. This natural viewpoint offers spectacular panoramic views of the city of Cusco and the surrounding mountains.
