Description
Visit one of the most important archaeological sites in the world: Machu Picchu. This itinerary is for those who want to plan their visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu in advance. It is important to remember that only 4,500 people enter the archaeological site of Machu Picchu daily, so it is necessary to make a reservation at least 2 months in advance. If the reservation is made closer to the date, then those who want to visit Machu Picchu will have to stay 1 night in the town of Aguas Calientes.
Ideally, plan your visit to Machu Picchu in advance, especially in the months from May to November, which is the peak season.
Our sightseeing tour begins with picking up the passenger at their hotel, followed by a transfer of approximately 2 hours to the Ollantaytambo Station. Here, we will board the Inca Rail train on the Voyager service. During the journey, we will have a breathtaking view of the landscape of the Sacred Valley of the Urubamba. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our staff will assist you in boarding the bus that will take you to the Inca citadel. It will be an unforgettable experience, where our professional tour guide will share with us the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. After the guided visit of approximately 3 hours, you will have free time to explore the area on your own. At the appropriate time, you'll descend by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you'll have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where we'll then take the tourist transport to finally return to Cusco and your hotel.
