Description

Explore two of the most unique attractions in the Sacred Valley on a tour from Cusco to the Salineras Salt Mines of Maras and the archaeological complex of Moray. The excursion starts in Maras, where you'll visit its traditional salt mines, an impressive series of pools built on the slopes of the mountain and used for centuries for salt production. Then, continue to Moray, an archaeological complex consisting of huge circular terraces built concentrically. Learn how these terraces were used by the ancient inhabitants as a space to experiment with different agricultural conditions. After visiting both attractions, you'll head back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 3:00 PM.
