Description

Begin your adventure with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel south for approximately 1.5 hours to the town of Cusipata, where you’ll enjoy a buffet breakfast. After breakfast, continue your journey for another 2 hours along the Pitumarca route, arriving at the foothills of Ausangate Mountain. From here, begin a scenic hike lasting around 40 - 50 minutes. Along the way, encounter several beautiful lagoons before reaching a high viewpoint near Ausangate. At the top, be rewarded with breathtaking views of the majestic glaciers and stunning turquoise lagoons that surround the mountain. Enjoy free time to relax, take photos, and fully appreciate this incredible natural landscape. Afterward, hike back to the starting point and board your transportation for the return journey along the same route. Back in Cusipata, a delicious Andean buffet lunch will be waiting, giving you time to recharge. Finally, return to Cusco, arriving between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM. The tour ends just half a block from Cusco’s main square.
