Description
We begin this wonderful kayak adventure in the Floating Uros Islands with pick-up and transport from your hotel in Puno, where we will receive all the instructions and
professional kayak gear needed to use the kayak properly. Then
we will set out by kayak to the Floating Islands of Uros, paddling for approximately 40 minutes.
We will be accompanied at all times by a professional safety instructor and a motorized support boat.
Above all, during the trip we'll appreciate the biodiversity of the lake (flora and fauna), and we'll see and touch the main plant, totora, which is the raw material that makes the Floating Islands of Uros possible. We'll also see a rocky island and the most beautiful views of Lake Titicaca.
Finally, we will arrive at the Uros, where the local people will give us a warm welcome and our tour guide will give us a full explanation of this fascinating culture. Finally, we will return to Puno and be transported to your hotel.
