Description

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel by private transport to Chinchero, enjoying beautiful Andean scenery along the way, including mountains, agricultural terraces, and traditional villages. Arrive at the community and receive a warm welcome. Community members will explain the spiritual meaning of each ceremonial garment. Learn about the Lliqlla (protection garment), Montera (symbol of respect), and Chumpi (symbol of eternal unity). Offer traditional offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth) using coca leaves, flowers, chicha, and seeds as a sign of gratitude. Next, participate in the Andean Wedding Ceremony. The Altomisayoc, spiritual guide, will lead the sacred ritual. Exchange coca leaves, bind sashes (fajas) symbolizing eternal connection, and create an energy circle with guests who share wishes of prosperity and abundance. After the ceremony, enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by the community. Taste Andean ingredients such as corn, potatoes, and local meats while sharing stories, music, and traditions with your hosts. Conclude the celebration with words of gratitude and reflections on Andean reciprocity. Receive blessings and take photos with traditional music.
