Description

Start your adventure early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel for approximately two hours through the scenic South Valley of Cusco, passing traditional villages and beautiful agricultural landscapes surrounded by the Andes Mountains. Make your first stop in Cusipata, where you will enjoy a delicious Andean breakfast prepared with fresh local ingredients to provide energy for the hike. This stop also allows time to adjust to the altitude and enjoy the peaceful mountain environment. After breakfast, continue driving for about one additional hour to Chillihuani, the starting point of the hike. From here, begin your trek toward Vinicunca, known worldwide as the famous Rainbow Mountain. Pass through wide valleys filled with grazing alpacas and llamas, crossing small streams while the landscape gradually transforms into vibrant natural colors. The final ascent leads you to the spectacular viewpoint of Rainbow Mountain, where you will have time to admire the panoramic scenery and take memorable photographs. At the summit, your guide will help you capture the best photos of this incredible landscape. The guide is experienced in taking great pictures so you can return home with unforgettable memories of your visit. After enjoying the views and photos, descend along the same route back to the trailhead and return to Cusco.
