Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel through the Andes to the Sacred Valley and continue to the community of Cachiccata, where your hiking adventure begins. Before starting the hike, enjoy a delicious breakfast and prepare for the day's adventure. Then, accompanied by your professional trekking guide, begin your hike along an ancient Andean trail. As you gradually ascend, admire the surrounding mountains, agricultural terraces, and rural landscapes. The trail offers a peaceful experience away from the busiest tourist routes and provides several opportunities to stop, rest, and take photographs. Continue hiking toward Inti Punku, the Sun Gate, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the area. Once you reach the viewpoint, take time to relax and enjoy the incredible panoramic scenery. From Inti Punku, admire views of the Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo, and the surrounding Andes. This is an excellent opportunity to take memorable photographs and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains. Your guide will accompany you throughout the route and can share information about the local landscape, history, and traditional way of life of the communities in the area. After spending time at Inti Punku, begin your descent toward Cachiccata. Enjoy the changing scenery as you gradually make your way down the mountain. Once the hiking portion of the activity is complete, enjoy a delicious lunch and take some time to rest. After lunch, continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most charming and traditional towns in the Sacred Valley. Enjoy approximately one hour of free time to explore Ollantaytambo at your own pace. Walk through its picturesque cobblestone streets, visit the main square, admire the traditional Inca-style architecture, and take photographs of the historic surroundings. You can also browse local handicrafts, enjoy the atmosphere of this traditional Andean town, or simply relax before meeting the group for the return journey. After your free time, meet your guide and group at the designated meeting point and board the tourist transportation for the return journey to Cusco.
