Description
Start your experience with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and a transfer to the Tambillo neighborhood, where you'll be welcomed with an introduction to the horses and their characteristics. You can choose the horse that best suits you and you'll receive your safety helmet before starting the adventure.
The first stop will be at Inkilltambo, an Inka agricultural center where you'll learn about ancient cultivation technology. Then you'll continue to Huayraqpunku and Chuspiyoq, where you'll see the impressive 'face of the Inca' carved in stone, the Inca tombs, and the ancient water temple. Here you'll also have the chance to participate in a ritual of connection with nature.
The tour continues to the Temple of the Moon and the Sun, spaces dedicated to fertility and the Andean trilogy: the condor, the puma, and the snake. Then you'll enjoy a trot or gallop through the eucalyptus forest, returning to Tambillo to visit Kusilluchayoq, where you can see figures of three monkeys carved in stone.
Finally, you'll walk along the ancient Qhapaq Ñan, the Inca Trail, accompanied by your guide, and you'll end the day with an emotional ceremony to Mother Earth (Pachamama), thanking her for the experience in the Andes.
This activity combines nature, archeology, spirituality, and tradition, offering you an authentic immersion in Andean culture and a unique connection with Peruvian horses.
