Description

We start the day around 6:00 am, picking you up from your hotel (which must be located in the city centre). We will head towards San Antonio de Chuca (approx. 2 hours 30 minutes). Before starting the hike, you will have time to have breakfast on your own. Our first stop is the Pillones Waterfall, where we will take a short walk (approx. 1 km) in cool weather. Here you can observe the rock formations carved by the water and, with luck, vizcachas among the stones. Enjoy the scenery, take photos near the waterfall and relax to the sound of the water. Then, we continue to the Imata Stone Forest, located 150 km from Arequipa (approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes more travel time). From the village of Imata, we will take a 30-minute guided walk among imposing stone columns, ideal for letting your imagination run wild and capturing unique photos. On the way back, we will stop for lunch. Before arriving in Arequipa, we will cross part of the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where you can see llamas, alpacas and other camelids in their natural habitat. We will finally arrive in Arequipa around 5:00 am.
