Description
Your tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel (4:20 AM to 5:00 AM), after which we will travel in our tour minivan for 1.5 hours to the south of Cusco, passing through several small, traditional towns in the region. Our first stop will be in the village of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Immediately afterward, we will begin our journey to the Combapata Viewpoint. We will then continue with a stop at the Los Pabellones Mini Volcano and pass through Yanaoca, one of the eight districts in the province of Canas and a tourist attraction in Cusco. We will then continue our journey to the Qeswachaka Bridge, passing through the district of Q'ewe, where the famous Inca Bridge of Q'eswachaka is located. Built from vegetable fiber, the bridge spans 28.67 meters (94 feet) and stands at an altitude of 3,600 meters (11,811 feet). We will descend a series of zigzagging paths that will lead us to the valley of the Apurímac River, where the ancient bridge will slowly come into view. After visiting the Inca Bridge, we will head to the Mosoc Llaqta district, home to the house of Tupa Amaru II. Following a guided tour, we will continue our tour of the four lagoons of Pampamarca, Asnacqocha, Acopia, and Pomacanchi. Afterward, we will continue driving for 15 minutes until we reach Cusipata, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch, perfect for recharging our energy. We will then return to the city of Cusco (arrival around 5:00 pm) and be dropped off very close to the Main Plaza de Armas.Includes
