You'll stroll through its streets and visit a craft workshop to try the traditional chicha de año, an ancient drink still enjoyed in the area. Then you'll check out the awesome El Brujo Archaeological Complex, starting at the Cao Museum with its seven rooms full of historical pieces, including the impressive Lady of Cao, the first female ruler of ancient Peru. Then we'll check out Huaca Cao Viejo, an archaeological site with Moche murals and the mausoleum where the tattooed mummy was found with her companions for the next life. From this spot, you can check out Huaca El Brujo and Huaca Prieta, which were once home to ancient civilizations.
