We didn't like the customer service. The place is nice, but the staff was very attentive. There were two adults and a child in our party, and we politely asked for an extra towel because they only had enough for two. They told me they could only give me one small hand towel, which I found rather rude. I said, "Never mind, just give it to me." But something worse happened: they told me I had to go downstairs to get it myself, that no one would bring it up. In all the other hotels I've stayed in, they bring the towels to the room. Anyway, the room itself is nice. The parking lot is very small; you have to wake another guest to get out. In other words, the staff isn't trained to provide good customer service.
Right on Matías Manzanilla Avenue in Ica, a month and a half ago I stayed there and everything was great. Now it's terrible. Upon arrival, having paid 100 soles in advance for a double room, I discovered there was no electricity and it was almost 6 pm. The power came back on half an hour later... But there was only hot water, meaning it was impossible to shower in 30°C heat. The double room only had one bar of soap and one towel. Plus, there was no Wi-Fi, so I had to share my phone's connection with the Smart TV. And the worst part is, I left for work at 8 am, they asked me if I could stay, and I said yes. I returned at 5 pm and the room was exactly as I left it. For that price... Damn.
Date: February 2026 The hotel is very centrally located, just blocks from the Pan-American Highway and the Plaza de Armas. The double room cost 100 soles, which I consider a good price given the proximity and the facilities. Note: It has a garage, but it's not very spacious. One day, they had to wake another guest to move their car because it was blocking mine.
The hostel had a clean room and bathroom, but the only downside was that I was assigned a room that was unbearably hot. I couldn't sleep well, even though there was a fan; it wasn't enough. I hope they can improve this in the rooms that don't have a window facing the street.
