Absolutely appalling and irresponsible customer service. Due to a translation issue on their official website, we accidentally booked another branch under the same chain. We proactively tried to resolve this days in advance via emails and their official WhatsApp. However, their customer service is a total disaster—trapped in an endless loop with a broken AI bot, and their human staff completely ghosted us despite promising a reply. What made it unacceptable was that on our check-in day, we physically went to the counter of Casa Andina Standard Benavides to ask for help. Even though they belong to the SAME hotel chain and share systems, the front desk staff was extremely cold and unhelpful. They refused to make a single internal phone call or escalate the issue to a manager. Instead, they told us—foreign tourists carrying all our luggage—to physically walk over to the other branch to fix it ourselves. This complete lack of empathy and non-existent cross-branch communication is disgraceful. We ultimately chose to walk away and booked another hotel nearby. If you are an international traveler, stay away from this hotel chain. If anything goes wrong, they will defect all responsibilities and leave you completely stranded with zero real human support.
Lovely staff, very clean hotel, decent breakfast & the bed was super comfortable. Easy walking distance to Larcomar & other spots nearby (highly rate the Casa de Cambio Cornejo money exchange, a short 5 minute walk). Unfortunately house keeping was a little lax; there was no service on Day 1, and Day 2 I had to follow up for it to be done @ midday. Otherwise super happy with the location & staff.
Amazing hotel! We stayed there for just one night and really enjoyed our time. Close to the beach and all the popular locations there. Also we were able to leave our luggage there, when left to Cusco. The stuff is amazing Really recommend!
Incredible staff - this hotel and its amenities were better than even the 5 star hotel we stayed in, in Lima. I appreciate the fact we can scream from our own devices onto the TV - the staff provided breakfast for us to take away even before breakfast is served- the staff were incredibly friendly, and very helpful.
