The hostel was in a good location right next to the park with cats in! Also easy walking distance, about 10mins, to a big supermarket and restaurants/shops. A 15 minute walk down the amor park/board walk to watch the sunset. Our private room was basic but had everything we needed (apart from towels). The atmosphere of the hostel was mixed, one night was quite busy and lively but another was super quiet. The kitchen was good for cooking and being social. We also stored a bag here while we went to Cusco, it cost 5 soles a night.
I spent some time here and there was a young man working there by Anthony. He went above and beyond to take care of me as his guest as well as everyone else. While I was waiting, he could see that I was hungry because I just got off my flight he brought me both Coca-Cola and some chicken flavored bananas the best bananas I’ve ever had. I recommend this hostel for anyone who’s looking into that and always remember Anthony Barrera is a good damn employee see him out as.
The location and set up is nice but the service at the front desk is a bit slow and the common desk area feels small and cramped. The room are basic and lack space. The beds themselves are a bit firm but the ac is cool and worked amazing. The bathrooms in the private room was a bit damp and lacked ventilation. the roof top has a great set up and bar. The food was amazing for breakfast and the drinks were also a good deal. overall not an okay place to stay.
It was good. Location was very close to Kennedy Park and there is a lot of restaurants nearby. Very good, hot showers. Had a nice splash pool on the roof. No towels are given for a private room and private room is close to area for partying. This was not great as everyone had to walk past our room to get to the rooftop.
