Description
We'll pick you up directly from your hotel in Cusco to kick off an unforgettable experience, traveling along a scenic route to the charming Andean village of Chinchero, located at 3,762 meters above sea level.
From there, we'll head to the local community of Cuper Bajo, where you'll be warmly welcomed by host families who'll integrate you into their daily lives.
You'll participate in agricultural activities using traditional tools from the Andean countryside, learning firsthand the ancestral techniques passed down from generation to generation.
You'll also learn about the traditional weaving process with naturally dyed alpaca wool and enjoy a delicious typical lunch prepared by the community.
The day wraps up with an emotional farewell accompanied by traditional music and dances, and then you'll head back to Cusco, leaving you at your hotel after a day full of learning, authentic experiences, and direct contact with Andean culture.
