Description

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Cusco. Take the southern road from Cusco, enjoying beautiful landscapes, valleys, and mountains along the way. Make a brief stop in Cusipata, where you can use the restrooms and enjoy the breakfast included in the tour. Continue toward the district of Maranganí, located at the end of the road and serving as the starting point of the hike. On this stretch, you will see lagoons, mountains, and high-Andean communities that enrich the experience. Upon arrival at the trailhead, your guide will provide important information about safety, walking pace, altitude, and the final viewpoint of the route. Begin the hike of 45 minutes to 1 hour, accompanied by spectacular views of the valley. The trail is relatively short but includes some steep sections. During the ascent, you may spot llamas, alpacas, and naturally colorful landscapes. At the main viewpoint, enjoy the incredible Pallay Punchu Mountain, with its natural stripes that resemble an Andean textile. Take in panoramic views of the mountains surrounding the valley and a beautiful turquoise lake located below. Have free time to take photos, record videos, and rest. Return along the same path, enjoying the scenery on the way down. Afterward, board your private transport and head to Raqchi, an impressive archaeological site that you will visit with your guide. Following the visit, continue to Cusipata, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch to recharge energy. Finally, return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
