Description

Begin your day with a pickup from Cusco’s Main Square and travel directly to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Your first stop is the Pisac Archaeological Site, strategically located high on the mountainside. Admission to Pisac is covered by the Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC – Boleto Turístico de Cusco), which is already included in the tour price. This official ticket is a single pass valid for Pisac and all other archaeological sites visited during the tour. Once in Pisac, admire extensive agricultural terraces, ceremonial structures, urban sectors, and breathtaking panoramic views of the valley, while your guide explains the strategic and spiritual importance of Pisac within the Inca Empire. Next, descend to the town to visit the Traditional Pisac Market, one of the most iconic markets in the region, famous for its handicrafts, textiles made with ancestral techniques, and local products. Enjoy free time to explore, shop, and interact with local culture. Afterwards, return to Cusco to begin the archaeological city tour, starting at Tambomachay, known as the Temple of Water, where you will see ceremonial fountains and advanced Inca hydraulic engineering. Continue to Puka Pukara, a former military fortress and strategic control point, followed by Qenqo, an important ritual center carved into natural rock with passages, channels, and ceremonial niches. Conclude your tour at Sacsayhuamán, an impressive ceremonial fortress built with massive stone blocks perfectly fitted together, offering a privileged panoramic view of the city of Cusco.
