Description
Begin with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 am and transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Board a tourist train at approximately 6:00 am and travel to Aguas Calientes, taking in the spectacular scenery along the way. Arrival in Aguas Calientes is expected around 8:00 am.
Upon arrival, be assisted in boarding the bus that ascends to the citadel of Machu Picchu, reaching the entrance by 8:30 am. Embark on a guided tour with a professional guide starting at 9:00 am and visit the most important sites, such as temples, agricultural terraces, and more. The guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours, concluding around 11:00 am.
Enjoy free time for photos and independent exploration until 1:00 pm. Afterward, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, arriving around 1:30 pm. In the afternoon, return by train to Ollantaytambo, departing at approximately 3:30 pm and arriving around 5:30 pm. Take a private transfer back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
