Enjoy this incredible experience during your visit to the Mountain of Colors. You’ll have the opportunity to see alpacas, llamas, and vicuñas while taking in the breathtaking views of the mountain during the trip. Our tour will begin with pickup from your lodging in Cusco between 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. After a 2-hour drive, you’ll arrive in Cusipata, where you can enjoy a nutritious breakfast. After breakfast, you’ll travel another hour to the trailhead at 4,850 meters. From there, you’ll begin your 3.5-kilometer hike to Rainbow Mountain over flat and uphill terrain. During your hike, you’ll enjoy incredible views and encounters with wild alpacas, llamas, and vicuñas. Once you reach the summit at 5,010 meters, you’ll have some free time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the breathtaking view. You’ll then descend back to the starting point over the course of another hour. Afterward, you’ll take transportation back to Cusipata, where a local lunch will be waiting for you. Once you’ve finished your buffet lunch, you’ll travel back to Cusco, arriving in the city between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
