Description

Most Huacachina buggy tours end when the sun goes down. This one is just getting started. After the sunset, you'll stay in the dunes for a grilled dinner at Duna Camp — a permanent Arabian-tent camp built into the desert, with a private lounge reserved for your booking. You'll meet at Duna House in Urbanización La Estancia at 4:00 p.m. and climb aboard a shared dune buggy for a two-hour ride across the Ica dunes. Your driver stops for panoramic views of the Huacachina oasis, photo moments on the ridges, and hands-on sandboarding and sand-tubing runs down the slopes. As the light softens, the buggy pulls up to a dune facing west for the sunset. From there it's a short ride to Duna Camp. Your group settles into a private lounge and table inside the shared firepit area, where the aperitivo is already waiting: gouda, English ham, cabanossi, olives, seasonal nuts and mini-toasts. Dinner is grilled on-site — 180 g of chicken or bife-style beef with cocktail potatoes and grilled vegetables — served with water, cold beer, or a bottle of wine to share. The night winds down with marshmallows by the bonfire, ambient music and Starlink WiFi if you want it. Return to Duna House is around 9:00 p.m. Itinerary 1. 4:00 p.m. — Duna House (meeting point) — Check-in at Urbanización La Estancia de Huacachina, Mz. B, Lote 2. 2. Dune buggy ride — Shared buggy into the Ica dunes (~2 hrs including activities). 3. Huacachina viewpoint — Panoramic stop above the oasis and lagoon. 4. Sandboarding — Board runs down the dunes with operator guidance. 5. Sand tubing — Donut rides and photo stops on the ridges. 6. Sunset stop — Dune-top pause for the sun going down. 7. Duna Camp — dinner & fire — Private lounge and table, aperitivo, two-course grill dinner, drinks, marshmallows and shared bonfire. 9. ~9:00 p.m. — Return — Transfer back to Duna House.
