Description
The Amazon changes completely when the sun goes down. This 2-day, 1-night experience takes you outside of Iquitos to experience that moment from inside the jungle, staying at an Amazonian lodge and participating in a guided nighttime exploration away from the city lights. The first day begins with a cruise down the Amazon River towards the jungle area. During the tour, you'll be able to observe the riverside landscape and learn, together with your tour guide, how the river level and the season constantly transform this ecosystem. After arriving at the lodge and doing the activities planned for the day, one of the highlights of the experience awaits: the Amazon sunset. As the light fades, the sounds of the forest change and the nighttime search begins. Equipped with a flashlight and accompanied by a local guide, you will walk along jungle trails in search of signs of life that often go unnoticed during the day. Depending on the natural conditions, you may see frogs, spiders, insects, and other nocturnal species. The goal is not to handle animals, but to find and observe them in their environment. After the exploration, you'll return to the lodge to spend the night surrounded by the natural sounds of the Amazon. The next morning, the experience continues with new nature and sailing activities. After lunch, you'll head back to Iquitos. The wildlife is in its natural state, so no specific sightings can be guaranteed. Activities may be slightly adjusted according to the weather, river levels, and rainforest conditions.Includes
