Description

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel by private transportation for approximately one hour to the picturesque village of Cruzpata. Upon arrival, conduct a 15-minute practice session so each participant can become familiar with operating the ATV. During this time, your guide will ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident before the adventure begins. Once every participant is ready, the adventure begins with an approximately 1-hour ride to the archaeological site of Moray. Along the way, enjoy an exciting off-road experience while taking in the spectacular Andean landscapes. Upon arrival at Moray, have around 20 minutes to explore its remarkable circular agricultural terraces, an impressive example of Inca agricultural engineering designed to test crop production at different altitudes and microclimates. After the visit, ride the ATVs back to the Cruzpata base, a return journey of approximately 40 minutes. From the base, continue by vehicle to the impressive Maras Salt Mines, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. Located at 3,380 meters (11,080 ft) above sea level, the salt mines feature more than 3,000 pink salt pools carved into the mountainside. These salt ponds have been traditionally harvested since Inca times using ancestral methods that continue to this day. After this fascinating experience in the Sacred Valley, begin your return journey. Your team will take you back to Cusco, with an estimated arrival between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. at Plaza Regocijo.
