Description
We will pick you up directly from your hotel in Cusco and drive approximately 30 minutes to our wildlife rescue center.
During this unique experience, you will meet rescued native animals from different regions of Peru, including the Andes, Amazon rainforest, and coastal ecosystems. Species may include Andean bears, pumas, condors, macaws, parrots, monkeys, deer, llamas, alpacas, and many others.
Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you will learn the individual stories of the animals, how they were rescued, and the challenges facing wildlife conservation in Peru. Many of these animals were rescued from illegal wildlife trafficking or situations that prevented them from surviving in the wild.
The guided visit lasts approximately 50 to 60 minutes, followed by 25 to 30 minutes of free time to take photos, interact with selected animals under staff supervision, and visit our handicraft area.
Our mission is environmental education, wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation. Whenever possible, animals are prepared for release back into their natural habitat.
After the visit, we will return you to your hotel in Cusco.
