Description
Start with a pickup from your accommodation in the historic center of Cusco at 8:30 a.m.
Head to an artisan community in Chinchero to learn about the processing of llama wool. Next, we'll head to the Maras Salt Mines, where our guide will explain the salt extraction process, and we'll have time to take stunning photographs.
Next, we will visit Moray, an ancient agricultural laboratory where the Quechua people experimented with crops from different regions.
In the afternoon, we will arrive at “Mountain View,” a secluded spot in the Sacred Valley offering majestic scenery. Here, we will enjoy a picnic in a private Andean teepee, complete with blankets, pompoms, Andean cushions, and breathtaking views. We offer two options:
Picnic Option 1: A selection of fruits, cheeses, and wines + outdoor painting.
Picnic Option 2: 3-course lunch (starter, main course, dessert, and fruit-infused water) + outdoor painting.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in Cusco in a comfortable vehicle.
