Description
Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup in Cusco between 3:00 AM and 3:30 AM, followed by a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Qollasuyo. En route, stop in Cusipata district for a 30-minute breakfast break.
Continue for another hour to Fulawasipata, where you receive an introduction to the trek. Starting at the base of the Ausangate mountain range, hike for about 1 hour and 45 minutes to Rainbow Mountain’s summit. Along the trail, spot native camelids such as llamas and alpacas.
At the summit, enjoy expansive views of the colorful landscape before descending for about 1 hour over flatter terrain back to the trailhead. Return to Cusipata for a buffet lunch.
The tour concludes with transportation back to Cusco, arriving at Avenida El Sol in front of Qorikancha temple around 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, close to many hotels.

- The hike lasts approximately three hours; altitude sickness is possible without proper acclimatization
