Description
Our service begins with pickup from your hotel or meeting point in Ica, where our staff will welcome you to start this adventure. During the transfer to Paracas, you’ll enjoy views of the desert landscapes that define Peru’s southern coast.
Upon arrival at Paracas pier, you will board modern speedboats to visit the Ballestas Islands, often called the “Peruvian Galapagos.” On the way, you will see the enigmatic Candelabra geoglyph, carved into the desert hillside. Around the islands, you’ll witness incredible biodiversity: colonies of sea lions, charming Humboldt penguins, and a variety of seabirds such as pelicans, boobies, and Inca terns. The tour also reveals striking rock formations sculpted by the ocean.
Back at the dock, we continue to the Paracas National Reserve, a protected area where desert meets the Pacific Ocean. Traveling by tourist transport, you’ll visit viewpoints like la mina beach and the famous Red Beach, known for its unique reddish sand contrasting with the deep blue sea. Along the way, there will be stops for panoramic photos of desert landscapes and coastal wildlife.
After exploring, we return to Ica, ending a day filled with nature, breathtaking scenery, and marine culture.

Important Information
- Before booking, please note: Pick-up is from your hotel or bus station in Ica at the agreed time. The transfer to Paracas takes about 1 hour. The Ballestas Islands tour is by speedboat; life jackets are provided. The Paracas National Reserve visit is mainly by vehicle with short stops for photos and views. Bring sunscreen, hat, water, and light clothing. Tours may be rescheduled due to weather or sea conditions for your safety. Return transfer to Ica is included at the end of the tour.
