Description
The experience begins at the front desk of the Hotel Mar Azul, where we will welcome you before walking with you to the Marina Turistica de Paracas. The walk is short and pleasant, as it's just a few minutes from the hotel. If you arrive with luggage, you can leave it safely in the hotel's storage room during the excursion.
Once at the marina, you'll board a modern and safe vessel to start sailing around Paracas Bay. During the journey, you can see the famous Candelabro geoglyph, an impressive figure engraved on the side of a hill facing the sea.
We'll continue to the Ballestas Islands, home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife. You'll have the opportunity to observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and numerous seabirds in their natural habitat, while our tour guide shares information about the wildlife, history, and importance of this protected ecosystem.
The excursion offers spectacular scenery and excellent photo opportunities. We have daily departures and guides in Spanish, English, and French. At the end of the activity, you can return to the Hotel Mar Azul to pick up your luggage and, if needed, use the restrooms before continuing your journey.

Important Information
- The activity is subject to the weather conditions and the provisions of the Harbor Master's Office.
- If access to the Ballestas Islands is restricted by the Harbor Master's Office, a visit to the Blancas Islands may be authorized, where sea lions, seabirds, and similar coastal scenery can also be seen. If you do not want this, you can opt for a full refund of the booking.
- Please be at the Hotel Mar Azul front desk 20 minutes before departure.
- You can leave your luggage free of charge in the hotel's storage room and use the restrooms at the end of the sightseeing tour.
- We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a light jacket.
- To confirm the booking, we require the full names, nationality, ID or passport number, and date of birth of all participants.
- Follow the instructions of the tour guide and the crew during the whole activity.
