Description

Your adventure begins in the early morning, between 3:00 AM and 3:30 AM, with pickup from your hotel to head to the majestic Colca Canyon. After a stop en route for breakfast (continental breakfast), you'll head to the famous Cruz del Condor vantage point, where you'll admire the immensity of one of the deepest canyons in the world and the spectacular flight of the Andean condor. Shortly before 10:00 AM, you'll begin the descent on foot to the San Juan de Chuccho Valley. After about 3 hours of walking surrounded by Andean landscapes, you'll arrive at the valley to enjoy a well-deserved local lunch. The route continues for another 3 hours through the depths of the canyon until you reach the tropical Oasis of Sangalle. There, you can relax in the natural pool at your accommodation, enjoy the paradisiacal surroundings, and end the day with a delicious dinner under the starry sky. The second day will start very early with a challenging but rewarding 3-hour ascent to the village of Cabanaconde. After refueling with breakfast, you'll board the coach back to Arequipa, making key stops along the way. You'll admire the pre-Inca terraces at the Antahuilque Vantage Point, relax your muscles in the revitalizing thermal waters of Chacapi, and enjoy a final all-you-can-eat lunch in Chivay. Before finishing, you'll stop at the Volcanoes Vantage Point (the highest point of the tour) and at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve to see free-roaming vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas. Your trip will end in downtown Arequipa at around 5:30 PM.
