Description
7:30-8 AM Pick-up from your hotel in the central area.
FIRST STOP: At approximately 9:30 a.m., we'll enter the national reserve area to see the vicuñas, which are a national symbol and emblem for having the finest fur in the world.
SECOND STOP: In the community of Patahuasi, at 4,000 meters, we'll be able to see rock formations eroded by time. We'll also be able to taste an Andean coffee or Inca mate made with products from the high Andean region.
THIRD STOP: In the Tocra pampas to observe llamas and alpacas in their natural habitat. These are Andean camelids that are native to the area.
FOURTH STOP: In Patapampa, at the Mirador de los Andes and the highest point of the trip at 4,900 meters. From this point, you can see the Andes mountain range and active volcanoes such as Sabancaya, Ampato and Huallca.
At approximately 1:00 PM, we arrive at Plaza de Chivay, where our service ends.
