Description
We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:20 a.m. and leave Cusco behind as we head into the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Ready to discover its most special hidden gems?
The first stop will be Maras, a picturesque village surrounded by beautiful landscapes that gives its name to the nearby salt mines. We will head to a viewpoint to admire these impressive salt terraces and learn about their history during approximately one hour. Dating back to Inca times, they have transformed the appearance of the local landscape.
After this experience, we will continue to the archaeological site of Moray. At 3,500 meters above sea level, we will find its iconic circular terrace amphitheater. Do you know what purpose the Inca civilization gave it? During one hour, we will explore what used to be an ancient agricultural experimentation center.
Finally, we will return to Cusco, dropping you off near the central Plaza de Armas at around 2:30 p.m., marking the end of the tour.
