Description
Begin your adventure by meeting your guide and hopping into your mini buggy. Put on your cross glasses and set off on a 3-hour tour of the Paracas National Reserve.
Visit La Catedral, a rock formation that was partially destroyed in the 2007 earthquake. Continue to Playa Yumaque, a 2-kilometer-long beach whose name means 'to collect with the hands' in Quechua. Enjoy 20 minutes to walk along the beach or relax.
Next, head to the Mirador de Istmo, the highest point in the reserve, and take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Spend 20-30 minutes here, waiting for the sunset.
Finally, visit Playa Roja, known for its reddish sand, which is colored by minerals like magma and a stone called granodiorite.
