Boarding point: Cusco Ground Terminal
DAY 1: CUSCO – PUERTO MALDONADO – ISLA DE LOS MONOS – LODGE
Departure from the Cusco Bus Terminal bound for Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival, front desk and transport to the harbor (Harbor Master's Office), where we will board a motorized boat for a ride of approximately 15 minutes along the Madre de Dios River to our lodge.
After settling into our rooms, we'll take a hike along the lodge's trails accompanied by our tour guide to learn about the Amazon's biodiversity, flora, and fauna.
After lunch, we'll sail for about 20 minutes to Monkey Island, where we can observe different species of primates in their natural environment.
In the evening, we will go on an excursion to observe nocturnal wildlife, including caimans and capybaras, with the help of flashlights and explanations from the specialist tour guide.
Dinner and accommodation at the lodge.
DAY 2: LAKE SANDOVAL – CANOE – AMAZONIAN HIKE
After breakfast, we'll begin the excursion to Lake Sandoval, one of the most representative places of the Tambopata National Reserve.
We will take a boat ride of approximately 10 minutes to the access point and then hike for about 1 hour along Amazonian trails until we reach the lake.
We'll enjoy a canoe ride on its calm waters, where we can see birds, monkeys, and various species of wildlife.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, we'll take part in a traditional Amazonian fishing activity.

DAY 3: COLLPA DE LOROS – CANOPY WALK – KAYAK – AMAZON SUNSET
Very early, around 5:00 AM, we will sail upstream for approximately 50 minutes to the Collpa de Loros Cachuela, where we will observe various species of parrots and macaws gathered to eat clay, a unique natural show. There is also the possibility of seeing sloths along the way.
Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Afterward, we'll go on a kayak adventure along the Madre de Dios River to the activity center. We'll hike through the rainforest and climb a tower approximately 20 meters high to walk across suspension bridges and enjoy a privileged view of the Amazon.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, a boat trip to enjoy the scenery and watch the sunset over the Amazon.
Dinner and accommodation at the lodge.
DAY 4: NATIVE COMMUNITY – PUERTO MALDONADO – RETURN
After breakfast, we'll visit a family from the native Machiguenga community, where we'll learn about their customs, traditions, and ancestral way of life.
Return to the lodge to collect luggage and motorboat transport to Puerto Maldonado.
Final transfer to the airport, ground terminal, or hotel according to the connection schedule.
