Description

Your day begins with hotel pickup in Cusco’s historic center. You will travel by tourist bus to the Ollantaytambo train station (about 1 hour 30 minutes). Board the train to Aguas Calientes (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes), also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo.

From there, an agency representative will assist you in boarding the bus up to Machu Picchu’s entrance (about 25 minutes). Enjoy a guided tour of the citadel lasting around 2 hours. After the tour, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you have time to eat lunch independently at local restaurants.

At the designated time, return to the train station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes). Upon arrival, a bus will be waiting to transfer you back to your accommodation in Cusco (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes).
