Description
Pickup times from Lima are 4:00 AM at the National Bank, 4:20 AM at Falabella, and 4:30 AM at Larcomar. Departure from Lima is at 5:00 AM.
The first major stop is Paracas Pier around 9:30 AM, where you will board boats to explore the Ballestas Islands for approximately two hours. The tour begins at the sand figure known as 'El Candelabro,' with a guide explaining its various origin theories. You will then navigate around the islands, observing rich marine wildlife including sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and diverse seabirds.
Following the boat tour, travel about one hour to Ica for lunch and wine and pisco tasting at a local winery and restaurant. Afterward, head to the Huacachina Oasis.
At Huacachina, you will ride dune buggies through the extensive sand dunes and have the option to experience sandboarding. After these activities, enjoy free time to explore the oasis, take photos, and shop.
The return trip to Lima begins at 5:30 PM, with an expected arrival around 10:30 PM at the pickup point, concluding the day.
If you prefer to stay overnight in Huacachina or continue to another destination, notify the provider before the buggy ride and sandboarding activities.
