The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco between 3:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. We will board our vehicle to travel south of the city of Cusco to the small, picturesque village of Cusipata. In this village, we will enjoy a well-deserved buffet breakfast to recharge our energy. We will then continue our journey to the starting point of the hike, the village of Occobamba, located at an altitude of 4,600 meters (15,092 feet) above sea level. After a short break of approximately 2 hours, we will get ready to begin our magical visit. We will begin our journey towards Pallay Puncho, located at an altitude of 4,730 meters above sea level. After the approximately 40-minute climb, we will be able to take in the wonderful scenery and will have plenty of time to enjoy the best views and capture photographs of this impressive place. Our guide will help us take pictures at the best spots so that you can bring home a beautiful souvenir. Afterward, our experienced guide will give us an informative talk about the composition and formation of Pallay Puncho, the reasons behind its colors, the lifestyles of the local inhabitants, and the flora and fauna of the Andes. Following this excellent visit to this new location, we will return to our private vehicle to head back to Cusipata for a hearty lunch buffet at one of the best restaurants. We will then continue our return journey to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm. The tour will end near the Plaza de Armas.
