Day 1: Lima to Paracas, Ballestas Islands, Vineyard Visit, and Huacachina Oasis
Your tour starts with an early hotel pickup in Lima. Travel comfortably by Peru Hop luxury bus along the Pacific coast for about 4 hours, with high-speed onboard Wi-Fi available (only through Peru Hop).
Arrive in Paracas and embark on a 2-hour boat tour of the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and various marine birds. Your guide will explain the unique ecosystem.
Next, visit a local vineyard to learn about pisco production and enjoy a guided tasting of different varieties. You will have free time to purchase lunch at the vineyard’s restaurant (own expense), featuring traditional Peruvian dishes.
In the afternoon, continue to Huacachina Oasis by bus. Explore the palm-lined lagoon or walk the surrounding dunes during your free time.
Later, join the dune buggy and sandboarding activity. Drive 4x4 buggies on the desert dunes and sandboard down soft slopes in one of South America’s notable desert settings.
Day 2: Nazca Lines Flight and Return to Lima
Depart early from Huacachina by private shuttle to Nazca, arriving around 11:00 a.m. Go directly to the airport for a 30-minute scenic flight over the Nazca Lines. The pilot will identify figures such as monkeys and hummingbirds, etched over 1,000 years ago.
After the flight, enjoy approximately two hours of free time in Nazca. Visit the Cantalloc Aqueducts, an ancient irrigation system still in use, or relax in town.
At 3:00 p.m., start your return trip to Huacachina and then board the Peru Hop bus back to Lima. You will be dropped off at your hotel or hostel in the evening.
