Description

Your adventure begins with pickup from your hotel/accommodation at approximately 4:15 AM. We then head south in our tourist transportation to the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast. Afterwards, we'll continue the tour by transportation to the community closest to the majestic Pallay Punchu. Upon reaching this point, we'll get a brief explanation of the route from the expert guide, and then we'll start our approximately 30- to 40-minute hike to the summit. As we ascend, we'll enjoy spectacular views surrounded by mountains, high Andean lagoons, and local wildlife, as well as a unique tranquility, far from the crowds. Upon reaching the top, you'll be rewarded with the incredible natural formation of Pallay Punchu, at an altitude of 4,770 meters above sea level, whose colors and shapes are reminiscent of traditional Andean fabrics. You'll get an explanation from the tour guide and have free time to rest, take photos, and connect with nature. After our visit, we will descend along the same path to the starting point of our hike, where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to the town of Cusipata. There, we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch to recharge our batteries. We will then return to Cusco, where our transportation will drop you off very close to the Plaza de Armas at approximately 5:00 pm, thus concluding an experience full of unforgettable landscapes and authentic Andean culture.
