Description

Start the experience with pick-up at your hotel in Cusco's historic center and travel for approximately one hour to Cruz Pata, the starting point of the ATV adventure. Upon arrival, receive your gear and take part in a brief training session and safety briefing before starting the tour. Drive through the rural landscapes of the Sacred Valley until you reach Moray, known for its unique circular terraces used during the Inca era for agricultural experimentation. Enjoy an explanation from the tour guide and admire this important archaeological site. Continue to Maras while taking in the Cordillera Urubamba and the Veronica and Chicon mountains. Then, head towards the Salineras de Maras, where you can admire the numerous salt ponds formed on the mountainside and have time to take photos. To end the experience, visit Mountain View and enjoy a private picnic in a natural setting in the Sacred Valley, accompanied by llamas and views of the Andean landscapes. After this last stop, begin your return trip to Cusco.

Important Information

• To enter Moray, you need the Partial Tourist Ticket, which is purchased separately on site. Admission to the Salineras de Maras is also not included and must be paid directly at the destination. The quad bike tour does not go inside the salt flats; for security reasons, this area is visited from the point allowed for travelers. Each participant drives an individual quad bike. Always follow the tour guide's instructions and the safety instructions during the tour. The route may be slightly modified due to weather conditions or security reasons. Please wear comfortable clothes, a warm top, and footwear suitable for outdoor activities, and bring sunscreen and sunglasses. The minimum age to participate is 12 years.
