Description
6:00 AM We start with pick-up from your respective hotel. We leave the city behind and head towards the Andes, with views of the Andean valleys and impressive volcanoes.
Our first stop will be at the Mirador del Volcanes de Chiguata. Here you'll have 20 to 25 minutes to admire the imposing presence of the Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu volcanoes.
Then we'll stop in the traditional district of Chiguata, where you'll visit its traditional main square and the colonial Church of the Holy Spirit. Shortly thereafter, you'll have breakfast.
At approximately 11:00 AM, we will arrive at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve (Admission: 7 soles). This is a high-salinity Andean lake located at an altitude of 4,300 m, where we will explore for approximately one hour.
During the visit, you will tour the salt extraction centers, make stops to observe the vicuñas, llamas, alpacas and Andean flamingos, as well as to admire the lakes (from January to March) and see the salt flat that looks like a white desert (from April to December).
Your tour guide will help you with a short photo or video session, capturing creative shots with perspective, landscape portraits, and short videos so you can share your souvenirs of this place.
In the early afternoon, we will arrive at the Lojen Mini Volcano, an ancient geological formation created by volcanic activity in the area. A few meters away are the Lojen Thermal Baths (Admission: 10 Soles). Those who decide to enter can relax for about 30-40 minutes in natural hot springs overlooking the mountains. If you prefer not to bathe, you can walk, take photos, or do other activities such as a quad bike ride.
Afterwards, we will begin our drop-off to Arequipa, stopping for lunch on the way (not included).
Arrival at Plaza de Armas in Arequipa is expected around 5:00 PM.
