Description
Start your day with hotel pickup in Tarapoto between 8:30 and 9:00 AM and travel toward Sauce, home to the beautiful Laguna Azul. Along the way, cross the Huallaga River aboard a Balsa Cautiva, a ferry used to transport vehicles and travelers across the river.
Continue to a natural viewpoint where you can stop and admire the scenery of the Huallaga River and the surrounding landscape. Then arrive in Sauce, where you will board a motorized boat for a scenic ride across Laguna Azul.
Enjoy the peaceful waters and tropical surroundings as you travel to a tourist center on the lake. Here, you will have free time to relax and enjoy the natural setting. You can swim in the lagoon, take part in recreational activities, or, if you wish, enjoy an optional horseback ride around the area.
After your activities, enjoy lunch before beginning the return journey to Tarapoto. You will arrive in the city at approximately 5:30 PM, completing a full day exploring the landscapes and attractions around Laguna Azul.
Throughout the experience, you will be accompanied by an official Spanish-speaking guide who will provide information about the places you visit and assist you during the tour. English and French guide service can be arranged in advance.

- Pickup is available from hotels in Tarapoto between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. The tour returns to Tarapoto at approximately 5:30 PM. The tour includes an official Spanish-speaking guide. An English-speaking guide can be requested upon prior coordination. Bring swimwear and a change of clothes if you wish to swim in Laguna Azul. Horseback riding and other optional activities are not included in the price and must be paid for separately. After booking, provide your hotel or accommodation details to coordinate pickup.
