Playa Roja, recibe su nombre de la arena roja hecha por la erosión de la antigua lava solidificada de la zona, que contrasta maravillosamente con el mar azul y las dramáticas rocas que sobresalen del océano justo en la costa.
 
En muchos lugares, la playa está rodeada de altos y dentados acantilados que dan a la zona una fascinante, casi surrealista sensación, como si te hubieras teletransportado a otro mundo.
