Description

Itinerary We will start picking you up from your hotel (near the historic center of Cusco) at 5:00 am. Then we will head south of Cusco, to the village of Sangarara where we will have our first stop. We will continue along a zigzagging road to the parking lot, where we will begin the hike of approximately 2 hours. During the walk we will be able to observe the flora and fauna (llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, horses) typical of the area. Arriving at the archaeological complex of Waqrapukara we will have a guided tour visiting the following places: Sun Gate, terraces, enclosures. We will have enough time to take pictures and visit a great part of the place. Then we will return by the same route to the parking lot. Finally we will return to the city of Cusco (approximate time of arrival 18:00 hrs).
