Description
Day 1: Start your adventure in Puerto Maldonado with a transfer to Paradise Amazon Ecolodge in Tambopata National Reserve. Experience thrilling canopy walks and ziplining, followed by kayaking along the river. Visit Monkey Island to see playful primates up close. Enjoy authentic Amazonian meals, then embark on a night caiman spotting tour to discover the reserve’s nocturnal wildlife.
Day 2: Wake up to the sounds of tropical birds and savor a traditional Amazon breakfast. Hike through the lush rainforest to Sandoval Lake, a hotspot for incredible wildlife and diverse flora and fauna. Take a rowboat trip on the lake to observe more exotic animals. End your day with a guided night walk to spot elusive nocturnal creatures in the jungle.
Day 3: Rise early for a river expedition on the Madre de Dios River to the famous parrot clay lick, where you’ll witness vibrant parrots and parakeets gathering naturally. Return to the lodge for breakfast before your transfer back to Puerto Maldonado city, concluding your unforgettable Amazon rainforest experience.
